Annabelle Gurwitch

Annabelle Gurwitch was an American actress, comedian and television host. Her most famous work is her work as hostess in Dinner and a Movie (TBS) and as an environmentalist known for her secular humanism and environmental issues. Annabelle Gurwitch was a critically-acclaimed actress, and New York Times Bestseller Author. She penned her memoirs You Said Tomato but I said Shut Up! It was also part of a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch hosted Dinner & a Movie on TBS for many years. Television viewers will remember her appearances in programs like Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown, and the program on sustainability WA$TED that was shown on The Planet Green Network. She has been a frequent guest presenter on PBS Newhour Real Time With Bill Maher, NPR and write satires and op-eds for the New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter as well as the satires and opinion pieces for The New Yorker. The New York Times, and the Los Angeles Times have ranked her among their top Ten shows of the year for her work on stage. Annabelle imparts her wisdom and humour in her perspective on the process of aging of our world that's so focused on youth.
